Business consulting that fixes what actually hurts

Most firms know something is off. Revenue plateaus, margins thin, good people leave. We find the specific cause, build a concrete fix, and stay until the numbers move. That is the whole promise.

Four steps, no mystery

Every engagement follows the same structure. You will know what happens, when, and what it costs before we begin.

1

Diagnostic call (free, 30 minutes)

We listen. You describe the problem as you see it: flat growth, rising costs, a market shift, a leadership gap. We ask sharp questions and decide together whether a deeper look makes sense. No pitch deck, no pressure.

2

Operational audit (two to four weeks)

Our team reviews your financials, org chart, customer data and supply chain. We interview five to ten people across the business. The output is a written report with ranked findings and a costed action plan. You own the document whether or not we continue.

3

Implementation sprint (eight to sixteen weeks)

We embed with your team two days per week. Typical work includes repricing product lines, restructuring sales incentives, renegotiating supplier contracts, or redesigning reporting dashboards. Each sprint has a measurable KPI agreed upfront.

4

Quarterly check-in (ongoing, optional)

After the sprint ends we schedule a half-day review every quarter. We track whether the gains hold, flag new risks, and adjust. Most clients keep this cadence for twelve to eighteen months.

What we actually do

Scroll sideways. Each card describes a real service with a typical timeline and deliverable.

Revenue and margin analysis

We decompose your P&L by product line, customer segment and channel. The goal is to find which 20% of activity generates 80% of profit, and where you are losing money without realising. Typical duration: three weeks. Deliverable: a prioritised margin map with specific pricing recommendations.

Leadership and team design

Wrong structure costs more than wrong strategy. We map roles against actual decision flows, identify bottlenecks and propose a leaner org chart. If you need to hire a commercial director or CFO, we write the brief and sit on the interview panel. Timeline: four to six weeks.

Growth strategy workshops

A two-day offsite with your senior team. Day one maps the competitive landscape and customer pain points. Day two produces a twelve-month plan with quarterly milestones, owner names and budgets. We facilitate; your people decide. You leave with a written plan, not a slide deck.

Operational efficiency audit

We walk your warehouse, sit in on sales calls, shadow procurement. Then we map every process that touches cost or delivery time. The report ranks improvements by effort and impact. Clients typically recover the audit fee within the first sixty days of implementation.

Interim management

If a key leader leaves suddenly, we can step in for three to six months. Our associates have held interim MD, ops director and finance director roles across manufacturing, logistics and professional services. We keep the ship steady while you recruit properly.

Questions we hear often

The diagnostic call is free. An operational audit runs between £8,000 and £15,000 depending on company size. Implementation sprints are priced per week, typically £3,500 to £5,500 for two days on-site plus remote support. We quote a fixed fee before work starts, so there are no surprises.
Our sweet spot is firms with £2m to £40m in annual revenue and ten to two hundred employees. Below that range a full engagement is usually overkill; above it the big consultancies are better resourced. We have turned down projects on both ends when the fit was wrong.
Occasionally. Most of our clients are based in England, but we have run projects in Scotland and Wales. Remote phases work fine across time zones; on-site days require travel, which we charge at cost.
Manufacturing, B2B services, logistics and wholesale distribution make up about 70% of our work. The remaining 30% is mixed: health clinics, construction sub-contractors, specialist retailers. We avoid pure tech startups and regulated financial services because the dynamics are different enough to warrant a specialist.
Yes, and many clients do. The audit is a standalone product. You receive a written report and action plan. If you want to implement internally, that is fine. About 60% of audit clients choose to continue with us for the sprint phase, but there is no obligation.
Every sprint has a single KPI agreed before we start: gross margin percentage, sales conversion rate, average order value, staff turnover, or similar. We track it weekly and share a dashboard with you. If the number does not move in the right direction within eight weeks, we pause and reassess the approach at no extra cost.
